Thoughts I have While Writing a Discussion Post

Todays Prompt:

THOUGHTS YOU HAVE WHILE WRITING A DISCUSSION POST

—> *opens up new post*

—> *types the title*

—> okay, this should be easy. I just need to write my feelings on this topic

—> *writes one sentence*

—> *breathes deeply* this is going good

—> *finishes one paragraph*

—> *reads it again*

—> This is okay, but… *deletes it*

—> maybe I should change the title

—> *deletes the title too*

—> *stares at the blank page*

—> *gets something to eat and stares at the blank document for an hour*

—> *starts writing again*

—> *finishes one paragraph and resists the urge to read it again and edit it*

—> *finishes a rough first draft*

—> *closes the laptop and forgets about the post*

—> *comes back to it on the day it has to be posted*

—> *hurriedly edits it*

—> *wants to delete it*

—> *hits publish instead*

—> *continues editing and updating it over the next hour*

—> *adds GIFs*

—> *clicks update one last time*

—> Thank god it’s done!
