15 Queer Books You Should Add To Your TBR

Hello everyone! It is Pride month and everyone’s reading queer books and taking part in various queer readathons so I present to you some on my favoruite for you all to add them to your TBRs right now! I hope you’ll enjoy them all!

Just a reminder before I begin to include queer books in your TBR all year round and not only in June!

The Falling in Love Montage follows Ruby and Sariose as they recreate some cliché montages from Ruby’s favourite movies and fall in love along the way.

Honey Girl goes to the very root of loneliness and insecurities and brings out feelings you would rather keep buried while also giving you some love and romance to make you smile and let you feel that things do get better if you keep trying.

Hani and Ishu end up fake dating in an attempt for Hani to prove her bisexuality to her friends. In the book, we follow as these polar opposite girls fall in love and be the perfect counter that the other needs and are there for each other!

This robot fantasy follows Ayla, a human servant and Crier, the Automae princess. There is political intrigue and a rebellion and these two are at the heart of it, seemingly on opposite sides and yet, they fall in love somehow.

Small Town Hearts is a story about changing friendships and fining love. It follows Babe through he summer after high school ends as she navigates the changed relationship between her and her friends and falls in love with a summer boy.

Darius is a queer Persian-American teen suffering from clinical depression who is visiting Iran for the first time. This story portrays the intricacies of different relationships, the importance of communication and accepting oneself.

This is a cute story following a black girl who takes part in a beauty pageant and falls in love with one of her competitors. I loved the friendships and the relationship between the MC and her grandparents!

Let’s Talk About love follows Alice, a black biromantic asexual girl as she falls in love. I loved how the book separated romance and sex, because they are very different and gave us a wholesome love story I absolutely adored.
