July Wrap up

Hey everyone! Another month has come to an end and as we move into August (which I personally think is the worst month of the year), let’s take a look at everything that happened in July!

My school reopened in July and as we got back into the schedule, it was all very hectic. The teachers have been overworking us and so, my posts had been infrequent and not according to my predetermined schedule over the month.

Other than that, nothing much happened except I finally went out for lunch with one of my friends that I had been wanting to go out for a while but somehow our plans always used to fall through!:(

  • Whiskey Flick: 4 stars ||An enjoyable fluffy F/F romance!
  • Whiskey Trick: 4 stars || A cute and entertaining romance!
  • American Panda: 5 stars || One of the cutest and fluffiest books I’ve ever read. I loved it a lot!
  • A Spark of White Fire: 5 stars || My favourite ‘first book in a series’ of this year I think!
  • The Immortal City: 3 stars || I couldn’t really love this book unfortunately but hey, may it is for you!
  • A House of Rage and Sorrow: 4 stars || All I can say is that the book lives up to its title.

As usual, I started off this month by Wrapping up everything that happened in June and you can check out here.

After that, I shared with you all my goals for the month!

I took part in the Indian Lit Readathon which was held pon 6th and 7th July and posted a wrap up for it. In celebration of it, I also did the Indian Sweets Bookish Tag which was included in that post.

I also participated in BookEnding Summer which was held over the month of July and ended up doing 3 prompts:

Down and Acrostic

Series Spotlight

Time for a BookCation!

I technically posted 6 reviews this month which is actually very great and I think I’m on track over here!

I am officially on an ARC Ban now since I have too many Arcs with me at the moment, and a lot of pressure from school so better not let it get more out of hand than it already is, right?

I also have exams this month (from the 3rd) so I think I will be posting once in 3 or 4 days until they get over i.e. the 12th.

Also, we have the Indian Independence Day as well as an Indian Festival (Raksha Bandhan) coming up this month and they both fall on 15th August this year! I really love Rakhi and meeting my cousins and having fun with them so I am pretty excited.

But, I hate the ending of this month due to personal reasons and I really can not predict how I will be feeling then and I may end up going on a hiatus towards the end of the month i.e. around the 25th but I will let you all know depending on how my mental health is!

That is all for this month! Hope you liked it. Share how your month was in the comments below. How many books did you read? What are your plans for August?

  1. A Spark of White Fire!! ARC BAN!! Yeah, I actually broke mine a few days ago, but I am back on it, and strong! But it’s fine, becaus it’s ARC August and Reviewathon this month, so I will finish a bunch (and then write their reviews down quickly so I don’t forget everything).

    1. I am doing ARC August – thanks for the suggestion!
I hope you are able to read both A House of Rage and Sorrow as well as Whiskey Flick and that you love them both!
