My 2019 Summer Playlist

Hey everyone! I know I don’t talk about music a lot on here but I decided, why the hell not? It is my blog and I love listening to music and I should share some songs I really love with you all! So, today I am here with my 2019 summer playlist.

(Don’t judge me too hard, okay?)

(Some songs are gonna be pretty old (like 2012-2013) because I’m bad at keeping up to date with music)

  1. Talk Later by the Vamps
  2. Let Her Go by Passenger
  3. Not Your Princess by Theia
  4. I Don’t Care by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber
  5. Girl Crush by Harry Styles
  6. Can we Dance by the Vamps
  7. English Love Affair by 5 Seconds of Summer
  8. All We Know by The Chainsmokers ft. Phoebe Ryan
  9. Break My Heart by Hey Violet
  10. Sirens by Cher Lloyd
  11. You’re such A by Hailee Steinfield
  12. You should see me in a crown by Billie Ellish
  13. Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood
  14. Just My Type by The Vamps
  15. This is my Breaking Up With You by Hey Violet
  16. ME! By Taylor Swift ft. Brandon Urie
  17. Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses
  18. Bulletproof Love by Pierce The Veil
  19. Stay by Alessia Cara ft. Zedd
  20. Psycho Girl by Busted

So that is what I listened to on the plane to and from Vietnam and also at random times!

As you all can see, I am bad at keeping track of new music and I would love some suggestions! I’m open to listening to all types of music so tell me some songs you like in the comments below!

  1. honestly most of my Spotify library is the songs I listened to in middle school, so hey it’s not just you 😅 I’ve heard of most of the artists on your playlist but have only listened to a few of the listed songs, so I’ll definitely have to look them up!

lately I’ve had “I’m Something Else” on repeat (by SomeThingElseYT on YouTube, would definitely recommend watching the music video because it is so good) plus the Hamilton soundtrack; in general I also love Against the Current, Kurt Hugo Schneider’s covers, and everything Sam Tsui has put up (both covers and original songs) … but I’m not great with keeping up to date either.

    1. Oh tell em what you think of them!

I’m excited to check out everything you’ve just recommended and I’ll tell you what I think shortly because I always love to try our new music!
I’ve heard only a few songs by Against the Current and I liked them and now that you’ve recommended them, I’ll surely be checking out more of their music! 🙂

  2. Hey. while my boyfriend’s reaction to old music is “Oh my goood… Ow! that hurts!”, I actually do like to listen to old music 😂 specially that 2010-2012 era, my “teenage me music”. (mind you, he’s younger than me, hah!)

I absolutely love “All we know” too !! ❤️

    1. Hah
I love the 2010-2012 era too – probably because that was when I actually started listening to English music (the middle school me phase I guess since I was 10-12?)

      1. What’s kinda wierd is that my region’s french youngster always listened to english songs… BUT we didn’t knew what the hell we sang 😂😂 so im listening to them now and im like « errhhh…. that’s clearly sexual? » ahaha

  3. Yea I really listen to just older songs, even the new ones I end up liking are older! I love the Vamps so I approve of their songs on your list and I’m already itching to preorder Ed Sheeran’s new album, I’ve seen him twice, for my summer playlist there’s just a lot of Imogen Heap because I love her and can’t be bothered to sift through spotify lol

  4. I’m loving this playlist, mostly all The Vamps songs makes my heart melt ❤ they were the first band I fell for and erm wrote fanfic about *whistles innocently*
