Hey everyone! I am back again with a Top 5 Tuesday post. Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme that the lovely Shanah @Bionic Bookworm does. If you are interested in doing any of her topics on your blog she welcomes it!
Today’s topic is Top 5 Fictional friendship and well, there are so many to choose from. So, here are my favourite ones:
BOOKS
Dorian and Chaol from Throne of Glass
Those two have been friends since childhood and have given up so much for each other! They love each other from the bottom of their hearts and their friendship is one I love the mist.
Cath and Reagen from Fangirl
These two are so different but they just fit together in so many ways! They are the unlikeliest of friends yet somehow they bond and come together.
Cassian, Azriel and Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses
These three form a dynamic that I love! They are funny and lively yet understanding. Having a friendship like theirs is somewhat a life dream I wish everyone should have!
Lara Jean and Chris from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
This is another friendship between two very different characters but well, it just works. It’s weird to me in so many ways but well, they stick up for each other and support one another so it works out.
Percy and Grover from Percy Jackson and the Olympians
This is another sort of a legendary friendship! Percy and Grover are two kindred spirits who are always there for each other and will fight anyone who tries to destroy the other!
TV SHOWS
Jake Peralta and Charles Boyle from Brooklyn 99
These two are two peas in a pod. They care for each other a lot and are always there when the other needs them. They are really hilarious and can keep making you laugh for others. They are a dynamic I will surely miss if Brooklyn 99 ends or is cancelled.
Rory and Lane from Gilmore Girls
Ohh, these two are friendship goals! Their friendship is one that I admire and hope that I find a friend like Lane/Rory someday. Gilmore Girls is one of my favourite shows and well, these two are half of the reason why I love it.
Elena and Carmen from One Day At A Time
Oh, these two are a little weird but they just suit each other and somehow work. Their friendship is one I couldn’t understand at first but well, opposites attract and so they must be pretty friends.
Blair and Serena from Gossip Girl
Blair Serena can hurt each other as much as possible, but at the end of the day, they’ll apologise and get back together like they had never fought and that’s exactly what I like about them. I like how they can count on each other when they are in need.
Ross, Chandler, Joey, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe from F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
These are the most iconic friendships in the world and I don’t think I need to say anything about them!
What fictional friendships do you admire the most? Tell me in the comments below.

Agree with the ones from Sarah J. Maas’ books! Some other friendships that I really like are Caroline/Enzo (tvd), Hayley/Brooke (one tree hill), Will/Jem (the infernal devices), Simon/George (tales from the shadowhunter academy), wesley/gunn/cordelia (angel) etc.

Caroline and Enzo are not one I’m very keen on but yeah, they’re great too!

Dorian and Chaol ❤ those two cinnamon rolls share one of the most amazing friendships.
I also named the Inner Circle from the ACOTAR books. I really wish I were a part of that gang.
Percy and Grover are also a perfect fit. I had already named two other Rick Riordan friendships, so I skipped that one.

oh my gosh, Dorian and Chaol have the BEST relationship, their bromance always makes me so emotional. Cassian, Azriel + Rhys’s dynamic is also so touching and I love to read them.

fictional friendships are equally (and, sometimes, even more) important as romantic, and that’s the tea 🍵 but for real, I especially appreciate books with a good balance, particularly if there’s going to be romantic drama – those poor protagonists need *someone* who they know will have their back unconditionally.
absolutely agree with all the book ones you picked, and Charles & Jake! (I haven’t seen the other shows, lol.) I would add Will & Jem, the Marauders (+ Lily Evans), Anne Shirley & Diana Barry, and Jess & Leslie from Bridge to Terabithia 💕

Yes, I agree! AH, yeah.
Truthfully speaking, in real life, I think friends are what I’d like to have more than any romantic relationships.
I mean, dating someone is fun but if I genuinely like them and know that its not gonna be forever, I’d rather have them as a goof friend dorever than date them for some time, break up and never talk again.
AH! Yes, Will and Jem. I have no clue how those two slipped my mind! The Marauders are another group of friends whose friendship I admire
I don;t know the rest that you’ve mentioned though…

haha that’s fair! Anne & Diana are from Anne of Green Gables (both the books and the million TV/movie adaptations that have been created since; would highly recommend the newest version, “Anne With an E”!) and Jess & Leslie are from Bridge to Terabithia, which is both a book and a movie (but I actually prefer the movie, with young Josh Hutcherson!).

Ans Bridge to Teribithia sounds interesting too!
