Hey everyone! As we move into the second week of March, I am back with a WHM Reading Challenge post!
The Women’s History Month Reading Challenge is a reading challenge hosted by Margaret@WeirdZeal for the entire month of March, aka Women’s History Month. There are two sections of the challenge: the reading section and the blogging section. I am taking part in both!
For the blogging section, on each Monday of March, there is a post prompt for you to take part in if you so desire. For today, the 11th of March, the topic is: books with women on the cover.
The topic for last week was: Female Characters that Inspire You. I chose 7 of them, so I am choosing 7 books here as well.
KINGDOM OF ASH
The last instalment in the Throne of Glass series and one of the best books I’ve ever read!
I chose this book because of how fierce the girl on the cover (Aelin) looks. He feels empowering and gives me this sense of strength.
You can read my review of the book here.
LEAH ON THE OFFBEAT
An amazing book by Becky Albertalli and surely, one of my Favourites! This book was pretty good and I used this one because the protagonist, Leah is bisexual. This is a shoutout to all the bisexual girls out there!
You can read my review of this book here.
ALWAYS AND FOREVER, LARA JEAN
AHH! I love this book. This is one of the cutest books I have ever read!
This book, I chose because Lara Jean is an Asian-American. She likes to bake, scrapbook and read. Plus, she has a cute boyfriend.
You can read my review of the book here.
TEH UNEXPECTED EVERYTHING
AH, a book by Morgan Matson whom I totally love by the way.
This book I chose solely because of the pretty cover! The cute dogs and pretty green grass int he backgrounds, I mean, what’s not to love?
CRAZY RICH ASIANS
I just read this book and oh god, it’s so awesome and I am just going crazy right now. This book, I again choose because of the diversity (Asian-Americans and a focus on the Chinese) and because I just finished it and that has me going completely nuts.
I’ll have a review of this book up soon!
DUMPLIN’
This book was one I did not end up liking too much, but it was a pretty fun read.
I choose this one because of the message it was trying to send. It kind of failed in my eyes, yes, but I really liked what it was trying to portray and hope that more such books come up soon!
You can read my review of the book here.
THE SELECTION
So, I kind of find America annoying? But, well, I haven’t read these in a long long while, so…
This one is on my list because of the pretty cover and the beautiful dresses! I surely bought this book only because of how good those covers would look on my bookshelf!
Which books which women on the cover do you like? Do you like the ones that I chose? Tell me in the comments below.
Peace out cuties ♥

These are all such beautiful covers! I think Leah on the Offbeat’s cover is my favorite out of this bunch – it’s so bright and memorable! But you’ve definitely picked some amazing ones 😀
