March Goals

Hey everyone! It’s almost spring time. At the beginning of another new month, I bring to you all more of my goals and also, how I did on those goals that I had set for myself last month.

  1. Write 10,000 words. Okay, so I did this! yay!
  2. Study hard and get at least 75% in my first tests for the year. Kind of? I mean, I did overall and in all subjects other than English. Why did I mess up in English? *sighs*
  3. Post a blog post consistently and 5 times a week. YAY! I did it. I posted 5 times a week, every week. I hadn’t thought that this was possible.
  4. Read 5 books. Yep, did that. That exact number
  5. Try and write more discussion posts. I could technically only do 2, but I have a load of them planned for next month, so I’ll call this a win.
  6. Listen to an audiobook. Yeah, I did this too! I listened to Crazy Rich Asians.
  7. Eat healthy food. Avoid chips, crisps, etc. Um, so I failed horribly… What can I say, I’m never good with stuff like this… Somehow chocolates just find their way into my mouth!
  8. Start exercising more- go for a run thrice a week. So, the runs did not happen but I did start stretching, etc. And, oh god, my thighs hurt so much!

So, overall, I think I did pretty good and while I could’ve done better, it’s a start at the very least. :’)

  1. Write 7,000 words.
  2. Figure out your characters and put them together completely.
  3. Study hard and please, go for your classes regularly.
  4. Post a blog post consistently and 5 times a week.
  5. Read 5 books.
  6. Participate in the Women’s History Month Reading Challenge.
  7. Read books only written by women for this month.
  8. Listen to an audiobook.
  9. Start exercising more- go for a run thrice a week.

This month I am aiming higher and I wish to improve as compared to how I did last month.

What are your goals for this month? Tell me in the comments below.

Peace out cuties.

  1. “Somehow chocolates just find their way into my mouth” is me every day, tbh! it looks like you did great on your goals, and you made progress on (almost) all of them, and go you!!! (for the record, running is awful. I tried taking up running last semester, but now there’s snow and ice on the ground and it’s cold, so it’s a nope from me 😜 also I’m not a fan of treadmills, it just feels so awkward running in place and I’ve heard it’s bad for your knees or something? though most forms of exercise will add wear and tear to your joints and such, so. 🤔) anyway, good luck on your March goals! 🍀

I barely did any original writing so that goal was a bust for me (though if I total up blog posts and emails and scholarship/summer program applications, I’m definitely way over my goal of 5k!), but I’m hoping to get some pre-writing done before Camp NaNoWriMo next month! also still working on making my sleep schedule and morning routine (including stretching and working out) more consistent … it’s a long term project 😅

    1. Haha, who am I to deny myself the pleasurew of having chocolates melt in my mouth?
Oh, it doesn’t snow here so that wouldn’t be a problem but starting running? That’d be a problem.
And tbh, I’d rather run than use treadmills, so amen to that.

Aw, I’m sad to hear that! Haha, yeah, blog post writing kind of takes up a lot of times and leaves less space for original work to be fit in.
I think you deserve to include all that!

I hope I am able to coax myself into taking part in Camp NaNoWriMo as otherwise I’ll never truly make any progress on my WIP. I write about a short story per month but barely add anything to my WIP sadly.
All the best on your March goals!

You did good in February and i believe you can do better in March. (We can never satisfy ourself so don’t worry) . Posting 5 times a week is soo awesome!! I never done that so hatsoff!

  3. Wawo! You almost finished all your goals for the last month. Many congratulations on that and all the best for March. Keep going!!

I don’t have monthly goals but I really try to eat healthy and exercise more every month, other goals may change but these two are my constant.
