2019 Bullet Journal

Hey everyone! It is a new year and I decided to continue making a bullet journal this year and I am even more excited since I am starting at the start of the year and can also make some yearly spreads! Woo!

I also bought a dotted journal, so yay!

So, here I am sharing with you all my 2019 Journal:

This is my front page. It is pretty simple and sweet. I really like how this turned out since I think that decorating too much is not me and I don’t even have the time for that, so this works out perfectly!

This is the yearly calendar which I made. Again, it’s simple and I also left some space to fill in major events all over the year. I have a plain black, white and silver theme for the most part with gold but throughout the year, as I fill it in, I think I will make it more colourful and interesting!

This is the page where I wrote my resolutions for the year! I have more resolutions that I have not written down here, but the main ones are here. I posted my resolutions on my blog too and you can check them outΒ here.

On this page, I didn’t really have much to do so I have just copied down a quote from the internet that I found inspiring and motivational. It will probably do me some good to read good stuff like this when I open my journal! Hopefully, it will make me more positive πŸ™‚ Plus, isn’t the quote looking pretty?

dscn1453Next, I have this page to track my reading. I have made a bookshelf on the right page to write down the names of the books I read through the year manually. I know Goodreads does all this and is an expert at its job, but well, it looks pretty! And it never hurts to have something in writing. I have drawn about 60 books even though my goal is just 50 in the hopes I will be able to read more this year!! On the left, I have made titles under which I can record what I read and where it belongs so that at the end of the year, I can look at it and track my progress and diversity.

dscn1455Now, this is the page where I track what TV Shows I watch. I am addicted to Netflix and I realise that is not a very good thing so I hope this will help me keep track and control my Netflix usage.

Next up, we have my January cover page! It’s simple, but well it is good enough and it does its job. Personally, I think it goes quite well with my theme.

I have not made any weekly spreads and I don’t plan to for January but I’ll see what I think in February. Talk to you more about Journals then!

Anyways, what did you all think of my post? Did you all like my idea for the journal? Tell me in the comments below. Will be waiting to hear from you all, it means a lot to me.

Peace out cutiesΒ β™₯

  1. I love your journal!! It’s simple, but it keeps things very organized. I’m scared of starting a proper bullet journal, just because I don’t know how I want to structure it. I have a very simple notebook with just a monthly calendar that I use to schedule posts and reviews on the blog, but I haven’t had a chance to start one yet, because I’m currently battling a flu and I have very few energy left lol

    1. Thank you so much! I was scared at first too, but start it… You don’t have to make it too fancy to make it look good! I hope you get better soon. Maybe you can start it once you are better! πŸ™‚

  2. yay for dot grids indeed! my first bullet journal was a gridded composition book, and while it was a good experience I can never see myself going back. keeping it simple is definitely great – a lot of the time when I keep going and add decoration I end up regretting it, so I’m working to keep mine more minimalistic too! 😊

your setup looks gorgeous! I’ve thought about doing the bookshelf reading tracker a few times, but honestly Goodreads is enough for me and I track more than enough things πŸ˜… but I love seeing them filled out, so I look forward to your future bujo posts!

    1. Thanks! I too find it hard to cope when I start with a lot of decorations and then it becomes more of a chore than anything else! Hahaha, Goodreads really is damn good. I wonder where we all would be without it right now!

      1. haha I used to keep a reading log in a separate journal, so I’d probably still be doing that πŸ˜… but it’s definitely hard to imagine going back to not having Goodreads!

  3. aaaaah I adore your journal so much, I’ve started doing a bujo again this year albeit I’m using a lined notebook because wow I don’t have money to spend on a dotted journal yet. Maybe next year, if I can stick to this. I also have a simple theme with mine, black fine liner and highlighter to mark out things, along with post it notes. Nothing too fancy…yet. We’ll see if I get creative at some point πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you and all the best! It’s gift from my mom or else I’d be stuck with a normal notebook too. Oof.
Ah, simple is effective. I’d really like to get more ceative, personally, let’s see how it goes…
All the best on keeping up with your journal!
